Kingston Trolley Tours

The Kingston Trolley Tours offer tours of historic Kingston, Ontario, aboard a fleet of three comfortable thirty-two passenger trolleys. It’s the ideal way to enjoy Kingston’s history and attractions.

Our state of the art GPS-triggered narration system compliments your experienced tour guide: together they provide an informative, engaging overview of Kingston’s more than three hundred years of history. The Trolley route covers all of Kingston’s historic old town and shopping district, as far east as Fort Henry and as far west as the Kingston Penitentiary.

In the summer season the Trolley makes six stops in the heart of our most popular visitor destinations, including Fort Henry, the Penitentary Museum, and Queen’s University; you can hop off at any stop, stay for as long as you like, and then hop back on and continue your tour. Trolleys follow a circular route; a trolley passes each stop once every half hour.

One-Hour Tour Circuit:
Enjoy a one-hour tour with an experienced tour guide and GPS-triggered narration. Two, three or four departures per day from 209 Ontario Street. Call ahead to confirm hours and availability.

Hop-On Hop-Off Tours:
Enjoy an extended tour with an experienced tour guide and GPS-triggered narration. Departures every half hour from 209 Ontario Street. Hop off the trolley at any of six stops:

3. Fort Henry
4. Canada’s Penitentiary Museum
5. Queen’s University
6. Entertainment and Shopping District
